Calderdale Parents and Carers are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager.

Business Development Manager

£28,696 Pro Rata – 30 Hours per week (0.85 FTE)

Funded initially for 12 months – extension subject to success of post holder

As a result of a grant from the Department of Work and Pensions DPULO Facilitation Fund, we are pleased to be able to recruit a Business Development Manager to support the strategic development of the organisation.
Calderdale Parents and Carers is a charity that works to support families of disabled children and young people in Calderdale both through the provision of direct services and also the strategic influence of services delivered and commissioned by Calderdale’s statutory agencies.
The Business Development Manager will help us develop new income streams specifically leading on the establishment of trading activities, the development and embedding of a fundraising strategy and supporting the development of income from trusts, grants and major donors.
The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, have an eye for an opportunity and merge commercial approaches with a strong value set that aligns with the nature of the charity. You will be able to drive forwards programmes of work in a supportive environment but with high degrees of autonomy.
You will be a skilled communicator, being equally able to submit compelling grant applications and market new services effectively, taking them to a stage where they become commercially viable.
