At Unique Ways, we help families from Calderdale with children that have any additional needs, whether this is because of physical disabilities, learning disabilities, those who are neurodivergent, or those with ongoing health problems. A diagnosis is not necessary, simply put, if you feel that you need our support, then we’re here to help.

When you become a member, you’ll be able to make use of all of our services. We will also send you Membership communications with lots of useful information including reminders for all of our Peer Support sessions, Training Courses and Workshops. You’re free to get involved as much or as little as you wish.

At Unique Ways, we only collect the information about your child(ren) or young person with a disability / additional need. By this we mean any child/ young person aged 0 – 25.
We offer support based on the social model of disability, which means we don’t restrict our services based on a medical diagnosis or specific eligibility criteria. We help families with children that have any additional needs, whether this is because of physical disabilities, learning disabilities, or ongoing health problems.
The information we collect helps us better direct our communication with our members and shape the services we provide.
