Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment

Posted on

Give your community a say Calderdale Council and the NHS are currently reviewing the services provided by pharmacies (chemists) across the district. In order to make sure they get the review of services right, they need to get information and opinions from local people

You can help by looking at the attached draft version of the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) and saying if you think they have missed anything, or got something wrong. Then you can fill in the online response form. It’s important for lots of local people to have a say so please also circulate widely.

It’s quite a long document but if your friends and colleagues and members of your group use local chemists then it’s important that they have an opportunity to have a say.

More information is available at http://www.calderdale.gov.uk/consultations .

The consultation will close on 12th March 2015, and our final PNA for 2015-2018 will be available by 1st April 2015.

Any information given will only be used to help Calderdale Council and the NHS understand how local people use or would like to use the pharmacies in their area. Personal information and opinions about a particular pharmacy will not be released to anyone else.

Thank you for your help, views are eagerly anticipated!
